Our Memorial Weekend

On Sunday.. Greg and I had a BBQ with his family. We had them over at our house and there was so much food, I am STILL in a food coma. Good thing I ran 6 and a half miles yesterday morning to counter act my food haha. It was full of volleyball and badminton.

This memorial day was just like any other day until I started running yesterday morning. I couldn't help but run to the cemetery, which I should visit more often. I miss her so much it's ridiculous.

It was a good day though. I was able to see my beautiful twin sister and momma. We went to Red Robin and it was full of laughs, like always. I love them more and more every time we get together.
Family is so important to me and I am so grateful for all those who sacrifice everything just so I can be with my loved ones. A big thank you to those who fight for our country.

I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Holiday :]
Loving his Dentastick :]

Baby Sullivan

Well today was THE day. We went to Saint Anthony on Tuesday to "look" at a puppy, well two puppies, in need of a home. 6 weeks old and I wanted all six of them!

I am the crazy dog lady and not afraid to admit it :] I am obsessed with dogs/puppies and think it's because my mom never caved and got my sister and I a dog when we were growing up haha. In not doing so, I am so in love with loving puppies and MY three dogs, it's all her fault ;] (AND since it's her fault, she is slightly obsessed with them just like I am;) Love you momma!

So here he is perfect, sweet, loving, 6 week old Gladiator Dane, named Sullivan...aka SULLY. We are in love and I'm NOT sorry for picture overload ;]

First Picture with Sully :]

Motivation

I have been slacking a lot the last couple weeks and by weeks I mean the last month :/ I haven't been tracking my calories and it has definitely been catching up to me...a big thank you to my husband for listening to me complain about my weight non stop and still loving me :] best man out there hands down!

It's FINALLY warming up here in Idaho and I look forward to putting on my purple nikes and run every morning!! Four plus miles a day is getting easier and I love it! :]

If anyone reads this blog, I just want to tell you it gets easier, just run. Cutting calories helps but exercising is key. Run, sprint, jog, even walk...get out there. Your body will thank you :] :]

Now: My motivation dress.... :]
